1980 W MGB GT 1.8 Manual with overdrive. 22000 miles from new.

This time warp "Snapdragon " yellow MGB GT was first registered 18th July 1980. The order included £500 of extras including "Servo Glide" electric windows and full "Ziebart" rustproofing.
Serviced at 1200 / 4000/ 7000 / 9000 and 11000 miles in 1988. Between then and 1994 the car was sparingly used and covered less than 1000 miles. It was garaged and not used from 1994 until 2006, at which point it emerged and was fully serviced and motd etc It was again sparingly used covering just 2000 miles in the following 3 years until 2009. The car was sparingly used again untill it went into storage again in 2015 at 22605 miles. The total mileage to date records 22630 miles.
The car is in amazingly orginal condition throught. The "Ziebart" rust treatment certainly worked in preserving the car along with little use. All original body panels, doors, wiings, rear arches, bonnet, tailgate along with all original floors, sills etc none of which show any signs of rust or repair and absolutely no welding repairs have been carried out. It even retains all the orginal factory applied body coloured underseal under the wheel arches. All orginal interior fitments including the MG must have of the era the grey striped "Deckchair" seats! Amazingly it still has the spare key attached to the bulkhead under the bonnet as fitted by BL 1980!
We have the original drivers handook "Supercover" certificate (and sticker on the windscreen) and the all important "Passport to service" book displaying five service stamps.
Due to having been off the road for seven years we have had it recommissioned to include five brand new tyres fitted to its original "Rostyle" wheels, fuel system flushed with brand new fuel tank, sender and glass filter, brakes checked, engine service including oil, filter and new spark plugs and new wiper blades.
The car drives as one would expect of a 22000 mile car with a strong engine and the overdrive working correctly on third and fourth gears.
Although tax and Mot exempt, the car has a full 12 months Mot. with no advisories.
