1954 Morris Minor Series II Split Screen. Factory black with red leather upholstery and white piping.
This stunning Morris has been with its last owner for 14 years and during this time the car has been lovingly cherished. Fully restored a few years ago it comes with a large album of pictures detailing the whole restoration process and very thorough in was as well. The car retains all of its original features such as a fully refurbished Bakelite steering wheel, working semaphore indicators and cheese grater style grill. The paint finish is outstanding with a gorgeous lustre and depth of shine. All of the chrome is in super condition including the hub caps.
The Morris retains its original registration number 163 ANO which is fully transferable and valued on its own at over £1000 but we are of the opinion it should remain with the car.
Accompanying the car is a history file containing bills, invoices and old mot certificates dating back to 1989. 62,000 recorded miles. Starting on the button and running and driving just as it should this car is now ready for its next adventure.
Most recent work includes new wheel cylinders and brake shoes all round as well as a new master cylinder, with the invoices on file. All nearly new tyres. A car that will be equally at home in a private collection or used for weekend shows and events its sure to turn heads and raise smiles wherever it goes. Now tax and mot exempt although has a current Mot unil April 2024 with no advisories.
